At Aston Jackets, we want to ensure you get the perfect fit every time. Therefore, we provide this comprehensive guide to help you measure yourself accurately before placing an order.
Upper Body Measurements
Neck: Measure around your neck at the collar level for a comfortable fit.
Chest/Bust: Place the tape measure at the fullest part of your chest. Wrap it under your armpits and around your shoulder blades to get the total circumference.
Shoulder: Stand up straight with your shoulders back. Measure from the edge of the left shoulder point to the right shoulder along the top.
Sleeves: Measure from the end of your shoulder (where the arm starts) down to your wrist.
Length: Start from the base of the collar and measure down the back to your desired length.
Lower Body & Torso
Waist: Circle the tape around your natural waistline, located above the belly button.
Hips: Wrap the tape around the widest part of your buttocks to ensure a proper fit.
Inseam: Measure the distance from the uppermost inner part of your thigh down to your ankle.
Out-seam: Start from the top of your waistband and measure down to where you want the trousers to end.
Additional Details
Height: Stand against a wall and mark the point at the top of your head. Consequently, you can measure the distance from the floor to that mark.
Upper Arm/Bicep: Wrap the tape tightly around the widest part of your upper arm.
Palm: Measure from the tip of your middle finger to the start of your wrist.
Shoes: We use the International Standard (ISO 9407:1991). Therefore, our measurements reflect the mean foot length and width in millimeters.
